The Alocasia Sairan is a hybrid of two; Alocasias - the Zebrina and the micholitziana. It does not grow in the wild. Both parent species are native to the Philippines.

Like all Alocasia, the Sairan will like humid conditions with humus rich soil which is kept moist but not soggy. Sun will scorch the stunning leaves of this alocasia so it's best in part shade or filtered sun in moist, organically rich soils. Reduce watering in winter.
