Dryopteris d. 'Crispa Whiteside'

Price

£5.99

Dryopteris Dilatata, or the broad buckler fern, is a robust species of fern native to the UK, although 'Crispa Whiteside' is not one of them. CW is a much more congested variety and of a lighter green than our native buckler fern.

It is semi evergreen and looks fab with other ferns, providing that drop of colour throughout winter. It can be tolerant of dry shade, much like woodlands, but needs constant moisture during its first season and a good mulch in its first winter.
