The UKs native Male Fern. Suited to damp shady borders, streams, riverbanks and pond edges in the shade. A tall growing fern it will reach 1.2m in height and form a graceful arching habit. A deciduous fern, it will grow in moist, well drained soil.

This fern needs a large growing space. Cut back to the ground if the fronds have turned brown over winter.
