Product Specification
  • Plant in well-drained soil in sun. Not suitable for damp or heavy soils like clay as they will rot.
  • A hardy perennial which requires no frost protection, however you may wish to dig up your plants for winter to ensure they don't rot in our wet winters.
  • Supplied in a 2litre pot
  • Good for prairie schemes and mediterranean gardens
  • Try not to plant in an overcrowded scheme as they will not survive
Tips

Echinacea grow in open woodland, prairies and dry ground which are generally windy.  This helps to maintain a good airflow around the plant itself.  If your garden is open with dryish soil then these plants will thrive, but will not like dense planting in damp soil with no airflow.

If you want your plants to grow year after year then you may wish to dig them up after flowering or plant them in pots which can be moved inside for wet winters.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Due to the uncertain nature of echinacea growth in the UK climate we will only guarantee this plant for 2 months from the date of  purchase.
