Native to Japan, Japanese forest grass is a perennial grass producing mounds of bright green leaves with an arching habit. The leaves change to a red/ brown in autumn and winter before  dying back. Cut back to the ground in late winter.

 

Great for lining pathways or planting under tall shrubs and trees. This grass is also great for planting in tubs.
