Ranunculus Aquatilis or the Water Crowfoot, is an IA British wild native plant with ivy shaped leaves and white buttercup flowers that float on the surface of the water. An excellent oxygenator, it has three leaf forms; two above the surface and one below. It can grow in moving or still water and can often be seen in large clumps of emerald green in fast moving rivers. The foliage remains submerged, which oxygenates the water, and the pretty white flowers float on top.
