Saxifraga 'Peter Pan'
£4.50
Saxifraga are a huge group of plants with hundreds of different varieties.
This selection is a good choice for the partially shaded rock garden or in alpine troughs and other containers. It forms a low cushion or mound of shiny bright-green leaves, bearing short stems of red buds that open into upfacing, star-shaped rose-pink flowers in spring, right through to autumn.
Requires a cool, moist but very well drained location. Dislikes drought and hot humid summer weather. Trim lightly after flowering. Evergreen.
