  • Environmental Policy
We care passionately about the environment and how we care for our planet, and we try to keep the business as substantially sound as possible whilst also conforming with relevant laws. All of our plants come from as close as possible to the business address to keep carbon emissions low, but also to support local businesses. There are three suppliers for our perennials which are Howards Nurseries and Goose Green Nurseries, both based in Suffolk. Our plug plants come from a supplier in Cornwall. Our indoor plants are imported from the Netherlands as the choice of plants from UK growers of indoor plants is limited. Most of our packaging can be recycled including the paper tape used to seal our boxes. Our paper bags are made from recycled paper and our plastic bags are fully compostable. Our plastic used for our homemade compost is made from 100% recycled material. Our marketing materials are made from either fully recycled paper or paper produced in a sustainable way. All of our packaging is either re-used where possible or disposed of according to UK laws on commercial waste. We send nothing to landfill.
